These shots are from a recent trip up the coast from Sydney to Byron Bay with my two good friends; Tim and Ed from The Lagoon Collective. We stopped in all kinds of unusual places (Nimbin) and skated every park possible along the way from a chilled mini in Bangalow to a giant dinosaur ramp in Lismore which scared the shit out of us both (Pictured) . We met up with some other good friends along the way who lent us couches to sleep on, and took us to the most beautiful secret waterfall, trekking an hour and descending some quite hazardous terrain to get there.

After having some problems with sharks in the water, we decided to stay away from the surf and resort to skating, rope swings and exploring, the highlight of which was a giant drop near Nimbin. The first time I jumped, my foot got caught in the rope and almost looped around… we found out afterwards that someone had recently died from the same incident. This combined with the sharks put a strange kind of stigma on the trip, but overall, it was an experience I wouldn’t trade anything for.
